What is Orca Free?
Mother and calf

Orcas are obviously extraordinary animals. They are unique in their combination of intelligence, cooperation, communication and strength, and are captivating animals to study. However, they are also an important barometer of the health of the oceans, and their survival must be assured for us to have confidence in our own future on this planet. Beyond that, many more interesting questions remain, such as how a powerful predator species lives harmoniously in non-violent cooperation.

Every single individual has the power to affect the lives of orcas. Just by coming to this site you show your support. However, some communities are in danger and require action now. If you can send just one email, that could be the one that changes the Senator's, the Ambassador's or the CEO's mind.

At this time we aren't asking for your financial support. If you would like to donate money please consider some of the groups working on the severe problems affecting the southern community. But please consider signing in so that we may ask your opinion at some time in the future.

Thank you for your interest.
