Dear Mr. Holer,
I wish to express concern about the orcas that remain captive at Marineland of Canada.
Please consider the proposal to rehabilitate your captive orcas and their offspring back into the wild. As one of the world's most prominent orca display organization with seven orcas, you have the ability to alter the lives of all orcas in captivity. The successful rehabilitation of Keiko, another Icelandic orca, proves that it is feasible. Moreover, the captivity of whales and dolphins is archaic and ultimately unprofitable as more people become enlightened about its inherent cruelty. The most successful aquarium in North America is the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California, which only has models and interactive videos of whales and dolphins. Therefore, until you consider giving your orcas a future in the wild I won't visit any Marineland park.
